
Capital Commitment of Virginia
Capital Commitment of Virginia (CC of VA) is a telecommunications training facility owned and operated by the non-profit organization, American Youth Resources, Inc. Since 2003, Capital Commitment of Virginia had been training individuals in the latest standards of residential and commercial cable installation.
Throughout the 16 week training, students learn the proper techniques of installing into new construction, as well as correct retrofitting procedures. The trainees will also gain expertise in terminating, testing, troubleshooting voice, video, & data applications. Upon successful completion, students shall receive a Structured Cabling Systems Certification and may pursue a BICSI Level 1 installer Certification.

Network topologies
Smart Home Technology
Relay Racks & Patch Panels
On the Job Training
In addition to the training, students receive numerous opportunities to gain real work experience through on the job training (OJT). Past students of CC of VA have had the opportunity to install computer networks, telephone systems, surveillance systems, and more.
